Club Information: Priority Goals 2006-2007

Foundation Support

• Pass and implement a resolution requiring all members of the Starkville Rotary Club to become Paul Harris Sustaining Members.
• Increase the number of Paul Harris Fellows.

Membership

• Conduct a membership drive to increase club membership.
• Reduce the time lag from the time a new member is proposed until approved by the board.
• Set up a mentoring program for new members.
• Standardize the information packets provided to new members.

Community Service

• Host the Classic Rotary PRCA Pro Rodeo in February to raise $25,000 for charity. Donate this year’s proceeds to maintain and enhance facilities at Camp Seminole.
• Participate in Starkville’s “Get Swept Up” campaign.
• Set up a “spring cleaning” fundraiser by selling donated items on eBay.

Fellowship

• Organize a Fall Social featuring a steak dinner and a Bingo game for charity. Proceeds to be used for the Ropes Course at Camp Seminole.
• Hold the annual Rotary Awards Banquet.
